Application Developer: Description & Requirements

A minimum educational requirement is a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering from an accredited university.

The successful candidate should have the following skills/capabilities :

· Hands on experience of 5+ years in programming in the following areas SQL Server 7.0/2000 Programming and Management, C#, VB 6.0 and MS dot net technologies.
· Should be familiar with socket programming and web development.
· Providing technical assistance and support in the research, including programming of systems.
· Assisting with development and management of systems and programs for all systems installed and maintained by the company.
· Keeping abreast of the developments of new hardware and software issues in areas of responsibility. This will involve reading the relevant journals, books and electronic resources.
· Ability to develop software based on the description of business logic.
· Ability to work and produce required results without close supervision.
· Able to be on-call during normal off-time (mobile phone).
· Able to work alternative schedules (shift work).
